The repeater is working as a relay between the BTS and mobiles. It picks up the strongest signal from BTS via the Donor Antenna, linearly amplifies the signal and then retransmits it via the Indoor Signal Distribution System to the weak/blind coverage area. And the mobile signal is also amplified and retransmitted to the BTS via the opposite direction.
Tri-band repeater amplifies and retransmits the signal of three different bands: for example EGSM and UMTS2100.
The Band Selective Repeater provides an affordable solution for operator to solve the indoor signal coverage problems due to signal fading and attenuation caused by architecture obstacles. And its easy installation and maintenance can help carrier get fast return. Band selective with Out of Band Gain function will simply enable less noise or suppress interference from operators frequency band.
Both bands of dual band selective repeater are filtered by particular operator bandwidth. Other operators signals arerejected.

Uplink automatic shut off when device detected self-excitation.
Automatic detect the distance between receive antenna and relay antenna, avoid device autoexcitation. After turning on repeater tests whether the isolation between donor antenna and service antenna meet up the repeater working condition. If repeater self testing find that donor antenna and service antenna isolation does not meet the requirements, repeater come up alarm and set both uplink and downlink gain so as to meet the requirements of donor antenna and service antennas isolation. Isolation value and gain are displaying in the LCD screens.
Band selective feature (fixed from the factory):
Any three bands can be choosed.
Operator can order repeater with two fixed bandwidth and fixed frequencies.
